Faith in Action Sermon Series April 30— May 14
Join with the entire Garden City Church of Christ family for Faith in Action! During this time we will focus on biblical compassion, service and Christ’s heart for those in need through weekly devotional thoughts on social media and worship services, April 30-May 14. Then be a part of a landmark day in GCCC’s history, when on May 21, we cancel normal Sunday morning schedules and instead go worship through service in the community!
We are not just serving the community, but with the community. That means you can begin now to ask God which family members, friends or neighbors you would invite to come join our service projects on May 21. Together, we can make a difference in our community.
Let’s BE the church to our community! We will have a short worship service at 9:30AM (no Sunday School), then we’ll go out in teams to serve our community. We’ll come back together for a celebration service at 4:30PM. Sign up on April 23 to guarantee your T-shirt & size.
A sack lunch will be provided, and you will have time to eat with your team. If you are have special dietary needs, please bring your own lunch.
Childcare will be available for infants and toddlers until 1:30 p.m. One parent must remain on-site at GCCC. Please bring food if your child is unable to eat the provided sack lunch. Please sign up Apr 23-May 7 if you plan to use the childcare.
Don’t just go to church— BE the church during Faith in Action month. For more information, contact Cindy Smock, Kingdom Worker Coordinator. Minimum age recommendations apply to most projects. Sign-up for your team on Sun, Apr 23-May 14.
