OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Our OCC Shoe Box Collection kicks off Oct 8, 2017. Empty, plastic shoeboxes are available in the foyer for you to fill with specified items for children ages 2-14. Shoe box donations will be collected until November 12.
We are not collecting individual items to pack shoe boxes at GCCC this year. We ask that you bring a gift-filled, wrapped shoe box (must be able to open the lid), and include the $7 shipping fee requested by Samaritan’s Purse (Checks made payable to Samaritan’s Purse.)
FOOD FOR FAMILIES
Thanksgiving Food Drive Oct 15-Nov12
Our Food For Families food collection project sponsored by the Women’s Ministry Team and in partnership with Love Chapel begins on October 15. Thank you for your participation. (Special Note: GCCC members/regular attendees who need assistance this Thanksgiving should contact the church office by November 10. Our display board, located at the main sanctuary doors, lists all requested non-perishable food items. Each item has tear-off tabs. Select the items your family wishes to donate and tear off the appropriate tab(s). Envelopes are provided at the display for any cash donations for meat or for other meal expenses.
All items should be delivered to GCCC and placed on the table next to the display board no later than Sunday, November 12. Please bring only items specified on the list/display board.
With your help, we will be able to bless our community through Love Chapel with wonderful Thanksgiving food and, in turn, we will be blessed for sharing what we have with those who are in need. Thank you again for your generosity!
